El body painting ( o pintura corporal) Es conocido como maquillaje corporal un estilo de arte de dibujar sobre cuerpos en los que puedes dar vida a la imaginación. Es la modalidad más artística del maquillaje. La pintura se funde con el cuerpo humano, dando como resultado una obra de arte en movimiento. Se requiere una gran dedicación al trabajo y un buen conocimiento de las técnicas y los materiales por parte de los artistas que realizan la obra.
Se afirma que ya desde la prehistoria el ser humano se pintaba el cuerpo para identificarse, por gusto o el comienzo de una ceremonia.
La pintura corporal reapareció en el Occidente a finales del s.XX.

Body painting is known as body makeup an art style drawing on bodies in which you can give life to the imagination. It is the most artistic art form in makeup. The painting merges with the human body, resulting in a work of art in motion. A dedication to work and a good knowledge of the techniques and materials by artists who perform the work are required.
It is said that since Prehistory humankind has been painting their body to identify, by choice or as the beginning of a ceremony.
Body painting reappeared in the West in the late twentieth century.
