1-Sakari Momoi: El hombre vivo más viejo del mundo.

El japonés, de 111 años de edad, ha recibido en Tokio semejante distinción por parte del Libro Guinness de los Récords. Este reconocimiento le llega tras el fallecimiento del polaco emigrado a Nueva York Alexander Imich, quien le superaba por un día.

 Sakari Momoi: The oldest alive man of the world.
 The 111-year-old Japanese of age, has received in similar Tokyo distinction on the part of the Book Guinness of the Records. This recognition there comes to him after the death of the Pole emigrated to New York Alexander Imich, who was one day older.

2- Mayor tiempo sin respirar en el agua.
Tom Sietas, alemán de 36 años (1997) quien el 14 de junio de 2012 pudo aguantar la respiración bajo el agua durante exactamente 22 minutos y 22 segundos. Para aguantar la respiración a limites inhumanos, Tom durante las cinco horas previas a su evento no come absolutamente nada, también antes de sumergirse llena sus pulmones con oxigeno puro, afirmando que con él le añade 10 minutos extras bajo el agua. Además Tom posee una capacidad pulmonar del 20% mayor que la de un hombre normal.

Longest time without breathing in the water. 

Tom Sietas, German 36-year-old (1997) who on June 14, 2012 could hold his breath under the water for exactly 22 minutes and 22 seconds. To hold his breath to inhuman limits, Tom does not eat absolutely anything five hours before his performance, also before the immersion he fills his lungs with pure oxygen, affirming that it adds 10 minutes extras under the water. In addition Tom has a pulmonary capacity of 20 % bigger than of a normal man. 

3- La toalla de la playa más grande del mundo.

En el año 2010 la compañía Cervecera de Canarias ha conseguido imponer un nuevo record, tras haber fabricado la toalla más grande del mundo, la cual se ubicó a las orillas de la playa de las canteras, en la isla de Gran Canaria, España.
Esta gran toalla mide más de 2.240 de metros cuadrados con un peso total que ronda los 1.100 kilogramos, con esto se logró romper el anterior récord establecido en el año 2008 por Chipre.

The largest beach towel in the world.
n the year 2010 the Beer company of Canaries managed to break a new record, after having made the biggest towel of the world, which they exhibited on the Play de las Canteras, in the island of Great Canary, Spain. This great towel measures more than 2.240 square meters with a total weight of about 1.100 kilograms, managing to break the previous record established in the year 2008 by Cyprus.

4- El mayor peso sostenido por una cabeza.
John Evans de 63 años, que se especializa en el levantamiento de pesas un tanto extrañas, es la única persona que ha sido capaz de levantar un mini-auto -que pesaba más de 140 kilogramos- por un tiempo de 33 segundos utilizando solamente a su cabeza. De este modo John Evans consiguió quedar en el libro de records Guinness.

The heaviest  weight balanced on a head.
63-year-old John Evans, who specializes himself in the lifting  of rather strange weights, is the only person who has been capable of lifting a mini-car - that was weighing more than 140 kilograms - in a time of 33 seconds using only his head. Thus John Evans managed to get into  the book of Guinness records.

El récord que más me ha sorprendido con diferencia ha sido el sostener el coche con la cabeza por 33 segundos, me parece algo imposible, y un hombre de 63 años lo consigue.

The record that surprised me most was this one, balancing a car on the head for 33 seconds, it seems impossible to me, and a 63 years old man succeeds.
