l verano de 2016 me gustaría poder donar mi pelo para las personas con cáncer y ayudar para potenciar su autoestima y fuerza.

This summer of 2016 I would like to donate my hair for people with cancer and help to boost their self-esteem and strength.

Si estás pensando en cortarte el pelo, ¿por qué no vas a cualquiera de las peluquerías asociadas a una ONG? Si donas tu cabello, harás más feliz a una niña que lo necesita. Da igual que tengas el pelo rubio, pelirrojo, negro, liso, rizado... ¡lo necesitan!

If you're thinking about a haircut, why don't you go to any of the hairdressers' associated with an NGO? If you donate your hair, you'll make a child who needs it happier. Whether you have blond hair, red, black, straight, curly ... they need it!

¿Qué tienes que hacer para donar? ¿Cuáles son los requisitos? Para poder confeccionar una peluca, se necesita  cumplir unos criterios básicos:

- Que seas menor de 35 años, o que no tengas muchas canas.

- Que estés dispuesta -o dispuesto- a cortar 20 cm de cabello como mínimo (unas 8 pulgadas aproximadamente). Si el pelo está capeado, toman como referencia la capa más corta.

- Que no tengas el pelo excesivamente estropeado por tintes, planchas, oxidación, permanentes o alisados químicos.

- ¡Les encantan las mechas californianas! Pero lamentablemente tendrían que descartar tu cabello debido a esa decoloración.

Importante: ten en cuenta que una donación de cabello no es una oportunidad para cambiar de look gratis. Se trata de un acto de generosidad, y no debería importarte el estilismo que resulte, aunque siempre el peluquero va a igualarlo de la mejor manera.

What do you have to do to donate? Which are the requirements? In order to make a wig, you need to meet basic criteria:

- To be under 35, or not have a lot of gray hair.

- To be ready to have 20 cm minimum (approximately about 8 inches) of hair cut. If your hair is layered, the shortest layer is taken as reference.

- Your hair musty not be spoiled by hair dyes, iron, rust, permanent or chemical straighteners.

- They love Californian wicks! But unfortunately they would have to discard your hair because of this discoloration.

Important: Please note that a donation of hair is not an opportunity to change your look for free. It is an act of generosity, and you should not care about the resulting styling, although your hairdresser is always going to match it in the best way.

3 cosas que hacer antes de morir/ 3 things to do before I die

Los sueños son cosas que  tenemos por naturaleza,  por esto yo os voy  a contar tres de estos que me gustaría cumplir.

Dreams are things we have by nature, so I am going to tell you about three of these I'd like to fulfil.

1. Aprender a realizar maniobras de parkour:
El parkour sería uno de los deportes que me gustaría practicar;  es muy emocionante y parece muy divertido por eso sería uno de mis deseos.

Parkour is one of the sports that I'd like to practise; it is bold and it seems very funny that's why it would be one of my wishes.

2. Utilizar un traje de planeo:
Sería algo parecido al paracaidismo solo que planeando y disfrutando de la experiencia, esto es algo que de seguro realizaría.

It would be like skydiving but planning and enjoying the experience; this is something which I would do for sure.

3. viajar a Tailandia:
Visitaría este hermoso país para aprender un poco de la cultura, gastronomía y para aprender Muay Thai; sería algo emocionante visitar ese bello país.

I would visit this beautiful country to learn a bit of culture, gastronomy and even learn Muay Thai;  it would be something exciting to visit this beautiful country.

An Experience Before I Die / Una experiencia antes de morir

Dentro de unos cuantos años me gustaría viajar con mi padre porque a él también le gustaría y le haría mucha ilusión viajar a Nueva York.  Me gustaría ver el atardecer y las vistas nocturnas desde Brooklyn y también cruzar su puente.

Within a few years I would like to travel with my father because he would be thrilled to travel to New York too. I would like to see the sunset and night views from Brooklyn and also cross the bridge.

1. Vivir una temporada en Nueva York. Es una ciudad que me gusta mucho,y me llama mucho la atención.
Y cuando sea mas mayor,me gustaria ir a vivir una temporada,sola o acompañada.

2. Hacer skydiving: El paracaidismo es la técnica de lanzamiento de seres humanos desde cierta altura usando un paracaídas para amortiguar el impacto del aterrizaje, que puede realizarse desde cualquier aeronave como avión, helicóptero o globo aerostático.

2 Things Before I die / 2 cosas que haría antes de morir

1. Hacer un viaje a la India

LA INDIA

La India es uno de los lugares más especiales que se puede encontrar en Asia por su gastronomía sus costumbres y la variedad de colores que tiene Son infinitas las cosas que ver y hacer en la India.  Es un país que cambia a la gente por la pobreza que pueden llegar a ver, la manera digna y positiva en la que los indios la toman y la religiosidad presente en cada momento que se pasa allí.

India is one of the most special places that can be in Asia for its gastronomy, customs and the variety of colors . There are infinite things to see and to do in India. It is a country that changes people when they see the poverty, the worthy and positive way in which the Indians take it and the religiousness present in every moment that you spend there.

2. Hacer puenting

Una de las cosas que me encantaría probar es hacer puenting. Es una actividad en la cual una persona se lanza desde una altura, generalmente cientos de metros, con un lado de la cuerda elástica atada a su cuerpo o tobillo, y el otro lado sujetado una estructura fija; como la cuerda es elástica tirará del ti y estarás rebotando todo el tiempo hasta parar.

One of the things that I would be charmed with proving is to do bunjee jumping. It is an activity in which a person jumps from height, generally hundreds of meters, with one end of the elastic rope tied to his body or ankle, and the other end connected to a fixed structure; as the rope it is elastic it will pull you and you will be bouncing all the time up to stopping.

El American Staffordshire es una raza canina originaria de Inglaterra aunque ampliamente extendida en Estados Unidos y en otras partes del mundo.

Por su fuerza y valentía esta raza ha sido usada como perro de pelea. Estos perros son valientes, tenaces, amigables, extremadamente atentos y dedicados.

Criados para ser amables con los humanos, los American Staffordshire Terrier son perros guardianes por naturaleza. También es recomendable entrenarlo en obediencia, lo que suele resultar fácil de hacer porque esta raza es muy inteligente y adaptable.

Un comportamiento protector o agresivo, acompañado de intrepidez, son por lo general una mala señal. Este perro es protector con su familia y casa. Sabe discernir el momento de proteger y el de relajarse. Son buenos con los niños y con sus propietarios y suelen llevarse bien con otros perros, gatos e incluso cualquier otro animal si se le amaestra durante los años de cachorro.

Aprenden con rapidez observando nuestro comportamiento. Es por ello que hay que tener especial cuidado durante su domesticación y aprendizaje, ya que son muy sensibles y es relativamente fácil que adquieran malos hábitos.

El coraje y la gran resistencia al dolor de los American Staffordshire permiten que sean buenos perros de protección. Sin embargo, es necesario un adiestramiento sólido para lograr esto, ya que por naturaleza no son perros agresivos con la gente. Es importante socializarlo desde cachorro para reducir el riesgo de peleas con otros perros cuando crezca.

The American Staffordshire is a canine original breed of England though widely extended in The United States and in other parts of the world. By his force and valor this breed has been used as fighting dog. These dogs are brave, tenacious, amicable, extremely attentive and dedicated. Servants to be nice with the human beings, the American Staffordshire Terrier is dogs guardians for nature. Also it is advisable to train in obedience, which is in the habit of turning out to be easy to do because this breed is very intelligent and adaptable.

A protective or aggressive behavior accompanied of intrepidity, they are in general a bad sign. This dog is protective with his family and house. It can discern the moment to protect and of relaxing. They are good with the children and with his owners and are in the habit of removing well with other dogs, cats and even any other animal if he is instructed during the years of puppy. They learn with rapidity observing our behavior. It is for it that it is necessary to have specially elegant during his domestication and learning, since they are very sensitive and to be relatively easy that they acquire bad habits.

The courage and the great resistance the pain of the American Staffordshire allow that they should be good dogs of protection. Nevertheless, a solid training is necessary to achieve this, since for nature they are not aggressive dogs with the people. It is important to socialize it from puppy to reduce the risk of you fight with other dogs when it grows.

Resuminedo, El animal que desearía tener en casa como mascota es un perrito, la raza que más me gusta son los American Stanford.
Mi animal favorito es el perro por lo fieles y buenos que son, y porque se adaptan muy bien al entorno familiar, concretamente American Stafford.

Summing up, the animal that I would like to have in my house as a pet is a little dog, the breed that I like most is the  American Stafford. It is my favorite animal because it is faithful and good, and because they adapt very well to the familiar environment.

Son depredadores por naturaleza, siendo sus presas potenciales más de cien especies diferentes de animales. Se comunican con gemidos, gruñidos y también con un centenar de diferentes vocalizaciones, además del lenguaje corporal.

Los gatos ven a los humanos como a un sustituto de sus madres, viviendo una especie de prolongación durante su madurez de la época en la que son cachorros. Es un animal cazador y los machos marcan el territorio orinando. Pueden sufrir enfermedades psicológicas tales como el estrés. Al igual que un humano estresado, tenderá a desarrollar un comportamiento neurótico. Su vejez no es gradual, como la humana, sino
abrupta. Dura aproximadamente un año y desemboca en la muerte. Un ejemplar viejo desarrolla cataratas y se vuelve más lento. También pierde el olfato. Duerme todo el día, sin desarrollar ninguna otra actividad, muestra de su extremo cansancio.

Cats see humans as a substitute for their mothers, living a kind of maturity extension during the time when they are puppies. He is a hunter and animal males mark the territory by urinating. -Tener una bandeja y cambiar diariamente la arena para gatos, ya que no les gusta usarla sucia y probablemente buscará otro sitio donde hacer sus necesidades.

-Cepilla frecuentemente a tu gato para eliminar su pelo muerto.

-Choose The right food for their age. 

-Water Fresh and clean in another container apart from the food. 

-Have A tray and change the cat litter daily because they do not like to use dirty and probably look for another place to do your needs.

-Brush your cat frequently to remove the dead hair.

Mi opinion sobre los gatos es, que tener un gato en casa tiene muchos beneficios, por ejemplo tienes compañia en casa siempre, mejoran nuestra salud ya que nos dan cariño y nos hacen olvidar los problemas, nos dan mucho amor verdadero ya que se adaptan a nosotros y nos dan cariño.

My opinion about cats is that having a cat at home has many benefits, for example you have company at home always, improve our health and give us love and make us forget the problems, give us much true love as they adapt to us and give us love.

Always, since I was small I have wanted to have a baby tiger or a lion, because I loved little Mowgli the jungle boy and the Lion King. I do not care if they are dangerous, I think they are something precious and I love them.

When I became older I discovered that there are white tigers, white Bengal tigers, I fell in love.

Siempre desde pequeña he querido tener un tigre o un león bebé, porque de pequeña me encantaba Mowgli el niño de la selva y el rey león. No me importa que sean peligrosos, yo creo que son algo precioso y me encantan.
Cuando me hice más mayor descubrí que hay tigres blancos, tigres de bengala blancos, me enamoré.

How to take care of them

They need a balanced diet; unlike cats they are wild cats and need fresh meat to survive, the main meat is more usually like horse, be careful and treat them in a proper way as they can get angry. Especially when you buy a tiger you must contact a company specializing in veterinary tigers in which they explain everything to do and the care you need to take.

The tiger is an animal that needs space, you must have a booth 500 or at least 1000 square feet, with a fence outside (at least 8 feet high) around to prevent anyone from approaching the interior. You should also have a shelter with adequate sanitation. This has certain laws and rules also in the US the interior should be at least 6 feet tall, must have certain hollos for food, a pool with water as they need stimulation and trees so they can scratch.

It is advisable to buy puppies because then you teach them how to be from small and are not savages behave as a pet and have no danger. When they are puppies should be fed with milk 6 times a day if less than 6 weeks of age, should not be separated from the mother so early, but there are people who ask cubs young children. After 6 weeks of age they can wean and can give minced meat, until you have 3 months is not allowed to eat on their own and should be given calcium supplements and finally you must rub wet cotton genitals to stimulate defecation.

Cómo cuidarlos
Necesitan una dieta equilibrada a diferencia de los gatos, son felinos salvajes y necesitan carne fresca para sobrevivir, la principal carne que más les suele gustar es de caballo, hay que tener cuidado y tratarlos de una manera adecuada ya que pueden enojarse. Principalmente cuando se compra un tigre hay que contactar con una veterinaria especializada en tigres en la que te explican todo lo que hay que hacer y los cuidados que necesita.
El tigre es un animal que necesita espacio, debe tener una caseta de unos 500 o 1000 pies cuadrados al menos, con una cerca exterior (al menos de 8 pies de alto)al rededor para evitar que alguien se acerque al interior. Debe tener también un refugio con un saneamiento adecuado. Esto tiene ciertas leyes y reglas además, en EE.UU el interior debe tener al menos 6 pies de alto, debe tener ciertos hoyos para el alimento, una piscina con agua ya que necesitan estimulación y árboles para que puedan rascarse.

Es recomendable comprarlos cachorros porque así les enseñas a como ser desde pequeños y que no sean salvajes que se comporten como mascota y no tengas peligro. Cuando son cachorros se debe alimentar con leche 6 veces al día si es menor de 6 semanas de edad, no debería de separarse de la madre tan temprano, pero hay personas que piden cachorros de corta edad. Después de las 6 semanas de edad se les puede destetar y se le puede dar carne picada, hasta que no tenga los 3 meses no se le deja comer por su cuenta y se le debe dar suplementos de calcio y por último se le debe frotar con algodón humedo los genitales para estimular la defecación.

It requires a lot of responsibility and work having and caring for a tiger, but I think it would be an unforgettable experience and something great.

Requiere mucha responsabilidad y trabajo tener y cuidar de un tigre, pero yo pienso que sería una experiencia inolvidable y algo genial.

5 myths about dreadlocks / 5 mitos sobre las rastas o dreadlocks

Las rastas o dreadlocks tienen una serie de mitos de tras de ellos hoy os voy a desmentir estos y os voy a contar algunos que no sabíais:

Dreadlocks or dreads have a number of myths behind them; today I will refute these and I will tell some you did not know:

1) Dreadlocks stink: False
This is a lie because dreadlocks should not smell bad since they need a very strict care and if a person wears dreads and stinks this means he has a very poor hygiene.

Esto es mentira porque las rastas no deberían oler mal dado que tienen un cuidado muy estricto y si una persona lleva rasta y huele mal esto quiere decir que tiene una higiene muy mala.


2) You cannot wash dreadlocks: False

Dreadlocks have to be taken care of and stay sanitized and need to be washed once a week. You just have to dry thoroughly after washing.

2) Las rastas no pueden lavarse: falso
Las rastas tiene que cuidarse y mantenerse higienizadas  y necesitan se lavadas un vez por semana. Solo hay que secarse bien después de haberlas lavado.

 3) To not comb your hair is the best way to get dreadlocks: False
When you don't take care of your hair natural dreadlocks can appear as in animals. In fact this was the way that ancient cultures had to have dreadlocks. But to neglect your hair is not recommended because that can cause severe odor or dandruff. Today there are several methods to have dreadlocks and be able to comb your hair later.

3) No peinarse es la mejor manera de hacerse dreadlocks : falso
Al no cuidar el cabello se pueden formar rastas naturales como las que se les forman a los animales. De hecho esta era la manera que las antiguas culturas tenían para hacerse rastas. Pero descuidarse el pelo no es algo muy recomendado porque puede provocar mal olor o caspa severa. Hoy en día existen diversos métodos para hacerse las rasta, la mayoría permiten poder peinarse después.

Las gomas de pelo lo que haces es mantener  la o las rastas unidas para que crezcan en conjuntamente. Sin embargo hay que utilizarlas con cuidado y no ponerlas demasiado fuerte. Lo que debe realizar la goma es sostener las rastas.

There are different and varied methods, and even creams and products to take away the dreadlocks without shaving your head.
