Arenal Sound Festival

En enero de 2010 comenzó todo. Empezaba a escribirse la historia de un festival único a orillas del Mediterráneo.
Arenal Sound nacía en Burriana.

Como todos los inicios, no fueron fáciles. Pero año tras año, gracias a mucho trabajo y al apoyo incondicional de los sounders, el festival siguió creciendo y creciendo hasta convertirse hoy en el festival más multitudinario dentro de nuestras fronteras, batiendo incluso récords de venta de entradas en un sólo día. La primera edición se cerró con 10.000 asistentes que inundaron Burriana durante 10 intensos días. Hoy son más de 55.000 sounders los que conviven en la zona de acampada durante 6 días disfrutando de la mayor experiencia musical del verano.

Nosotros estamos preparando ya el séptimo año de una manera muy especial. Siete ediciones juntos y seguimos con la ilusión del primer día.

Arenal Sound no es sólo un festival, es una experiencia. Es convivir durante seis días en un camping a orillas del mar con los amigos de siempre y con los que vas conociendo edición tras edición. Arenal Sound es música. Arenal Sound es poder bailar sobre la arena, bañarte en la playa privada y desaparecer entre el mogollón en un concierto para saltar como si nadie te viera. Arenal Sound es contemplar atardeceres y descubrir los amaneceres más bonitos que recuerdes desde el Beach Club. Arenal Sound es indie, rock, pop y electrónica. Cada año que pasa, miles de experiencias más se unen a nuestra historia.

It all started in January 2010. The history of a unique festival on the Mediterranean began to be written:

 

Like all beginnings they were not easy. But year after year, thanks to hard work and the unconditional support of the sounders, the festival kept growing and growing to become today the most crowded festival within our borders, even breaking records of ticket sales in a single day. The first edition was closed with 10,000 attendees that flooded Burriana for 10 intense days. Today there are more than 55,000 sounders those who live in the camping area for 6 days enjoying the greatest musical summer experience.

We are already preparing for the seventh year in a very special way. Seven editions together and continue with the illusion of the first day.

Arenal Sound is not just a festival, it is an experience. It is to live for six days in a seaside camping with old friends and with whom you get to know each edition. Arenal Sound is music. Arenal Sound is able to dance on the sand, swim in the private beach and disappear among the throngs at a concert to jump like nobody saw. Arenal Sound is to contemplate sunsets and discover the most beautiful sunrises you remember from the Beach Club. Arenal Sound is indie, rock, pop and electronics. Carnival in Brazil / El carnaval en Brasil

El carnaval es una celebración que tiene lugar inmediatamente cuarenta días antes del inicio de la cuaresma cristiana, que se inicia a su vez con el Miércoles de Ceniza, que tiene fecha variable (entre febrero y marzo según el año). El carnaval combina algunos elementos como disfraces, desfiles, y fiestas en la calle.

The carnival is a celebration that takes place immediately forty days before the beginning of the Christian Lent, which begins in turn with the Ash Wednesday, which has variable date (between February and March according to the year). El esplendor de la cultura brasileña se viste de gala cuatro días antes del miércoles de ceniza, es una celebración profana que da la bienvenida a las privaciones religiosas. Es un tradición que encuentra su primer origen en la antigua Roma, en donde los Carnavales se daban con el objetivo de dar la bienvenida a la primavera.

Estas tradiciones romanas sobrevivieron y se hicieron famosas en la cultura europea renacentista. Eran parte de las celebraciones que se daban en algunos bailes de salón, donde se usaban vestimentas, mascaras o disfraces y en donde muchas veces se podían confundir personas de todas las clases sociales. Estas formas de celebración llegaron a América a través de la conquista.

Estas celebraciones no son exclusivas del Brasil, sino que se desarrollaron en diversos lugares de América latina. Sin embargo, un segundo elemento, preponderante en la tradición del Carnaval de Brasil, la influencia africana, tiene mucha más presencia en el Carnaval de Brasil que en otros que se realizan en Sudamérica.
